What is the rubber band fix? Also, I don't even know it's the HD.
Soo... what can I put under the feet? Foam, rubber? I need those socks

Rubber is a way different vibration absorber than Socks® and depending on the frequency might still let all your annoying vibrations go through
They can only do so much and that so much is probably different from what your socks achieve Rubber band mod other ressource

Could the sound be coming from the bottom intake fan? The grill on the fan might be rattling.

I really don't know, it's weird. It's a very low pitch humming noise that gets louder and quieter constantly. Sounds like the whole PC vibrating!

Neoprene sheets or strips could help if sufficiently thick. Dirt cheap on ebay.
Black will keep it stylish but it's sometimes available in different colors Sometimes goods are packed with spongy white material cut to size for shipping. Maybe you have similar stuff in your pile of empty cardboard boxes search "rubber vibration" on ebay, all kinds of solutions will come to you
