I spent a good while trying to find purple fans for my case some months back. Hell you could probably find my thread and some others in the Air Cooling section still. Alas I never found any that looked good while lit up. There were also some that I never saw in action due to poor fan specs or unreliable specs.

If you really want to go purple I would suggest making your own as some others have suggested. This way you also can get a quality fan assured.

And I did say that I didn't find any that look good lit up. I've tried them and I wasn't impressed in the least. They looked more blue than purple nor was the fan very good. It wasn't awful but the airflow left a bit to be desired as well as the purple factor. I tried a few different kinds of fans and none really fit the bill sadly.

What you linked earlier is one of the best purple LED solutions I've seen in action.

Yep, when it comes to purple all he would have to do is attach one to his fan and should work pretty good...
