Default Paining front panel on antec 300?

Hey guys im gonna paint my antec 300. I just have a quick question. Do i need to sand the front panel of my antec 300? or can i just paint over it? thanks guys.

what paint color? if black i would just take the front off during painting.

No, the front of it is plastic, and the steel grill won't benefit from sanding because of its surface area. All you really need to sand is the primer and then wet sand (if you want) the base coat. Read this, it's a pretty decent guide:

1. Take off the front panel
2. Remove all of the buttons and lights, along with the USB/FW ports
3. Disassemble the front so the spacers and the grill are separate from the surround
4. Prime, sand, paint, wet sand, clear coat

If it's made of plastic, you'll need to sand and prime so that the paint stays.

Although with my front bezel on my case, I didn't need to sand it at all and it turned out great.

#4 is wrong. You always need to sand or scuff before you prime. The primer needs to be sanded so the paint can more easily adhere to it, yes. But if you don't sand before you prime, then the primer will flake off (and take all the color coat on top of it with it).
