I have a question. I'm going to paint my case real soon, but my case is already factory-painted. Is just 800grit fine? Do I need to get in all crevices possible? Places such as my PCI bay will be hard to get to though.

I already have the primer... and I have alot of it!

I would recommend using much finer grit paper if it already has the surface you want.I would say use 1800grit or maybe even 2000grit. just rough the surface up and then prime it. In regards to the PCI slot I am a little confused are you talking about the metal or is there plastic around the area?

We don't have any automotive shops in store so the best I could get was 1200 grit. I got plenty of that and 800grit though.
