Man that case is sick! What are your temps like with the vent vs. without the vent.

Default Pictures at last...

Imageshack is gonna breakdown if I host anymore big ones like this...LOL

Had to start another account (luckily they don't ban you for that at Imageshack...LOL)

Side view of interior--not finished with the cable management yet! I plan to sheath it--but I think read would be hot--I want to paint the interior as well...not sure what color yet.

To answer the question about temps: Temps with the vent were maybe 3-5C lower. Temps after the mod to the front fan and additional fan were another 5 C lower--so a total of maybe 8-10 C. I was hitting 60 C at first--then after the vent I was averaging beteenn 52-54 C now with the added airflow I am at 46-49C. That 820 is running hot (Oced to 3.2 Ghz). I have reseated the heatsink twice--next will come a brisk lapping.

From this angle you can see how the front fan has been shimmed out--it really made a huge difference the noise at peak velocity. I had been running the fan at low RPMs because the noise was so irritating. The next step is to blaze a 120mm hole there to further increase airflow--you might be able to tell that the front panel is not perforated fully in front of the fan.

I lke this angle--I only have a Hauppauge PVR 250 and a Dlink wirelss super G installed--there might be room for a big old VideoCard in there too...the HDD just clears PVR card. If I pull the Floppy drive I could fit another HDD...but since the mobo does not support RAID that isn't that exciting.

And one last shot with the side panel on...not a lot of air coming out of the side panel vent actually...I think a hole in the front panel would be good...there is already a foam filter in the front bezel that restricts the air--not having enough perforations is a problem I can easily remedy...

Any suggestions?

Dude, paint it chameleon lol.

Well since it doesn't have a window or anything, I would paint it gloss white or something to reflect your lights as much as possible so they would shine outside of your vent(s) once you get that thing carved up some more.

Thank you,Thank you...I am still tidying it up---need to run some wires behind the mobo--you know how much fun that is--you know I would have never thought of gloss white--that would make it whatever color the lights are...good idea.
