If you go to college and get an education, etc., will you get paid well as a programmer?? thanks.

Depending on the job, who you get hired by, what you considered paid well, and how good you are. In general, yes you can make a good salary programming.

Starting out....
__________________No. not at all. But, if you get a good job with a good company, and get promoted...then yes, you start to make some good money. Especially if you're a "supervisor" or something other than just "layman" programmer.

Just finished my first year of school as a CS major, and I'm doing an internship at Banta integrated media now (doing website stuff for HP). The people who work there full time and do similar jobs to mine make 60 bucks an hour.... I'd call that decent money hehe. You shouldn't really be worrying about what will make you the most money though, you should be trying to figure out what you like and what you want to do for a living. That's my opinion anyways...
