I have never been able to learn code through video or tutorials. Flip through the text... grab a bunch of code and just pound away. Once you understand how to code, all coding is pretty easy. The hard part is the subtle syntax differences. That's just me...

Yeah, I thought some people would say that, but some people are visual learners. I always get more out of books, because I can read it, apply it, mod it, and show it off. I still love video's though.

sounds kool i have been wanting to learn basic programing skills but i have no time to learn with a book. i think audio with i little mix of text would be nice. so you can pause on important stuff without replaying the same audio over and over.

Learning code by audio is nearly impossible... He would have to "tab set variable open curly bracket return code return close curly bracket" Again, syntax is very tricky with out actually looking at it. For example, I just learn that ' and ` are two very different symbols.

I wish I had a video tutorial when I dropped the second semester of C++ in college. Barely got a C- in the first part only because I actually turned in all my work, although most of it was flawed. The second semester was harder and I just had enough of it.

i have a question. you are making video tutorials rite. so you will need audio to explain what you are doing but wouldn't the video show the text that you are working on.

That's pretty good actually! Just don't forget to cover the even more fundamentals... like what is a public class?
