Default How would I go about making this program?
Hi, I'm looking to make a program, preferably in C++, that I can start, and after 85 seconds alerts me with a popup. I have no experience in programming. Thanks!

Alerts you when you start your machine or start the program?

I would use Kixtart or VBscript if it is when you start your machine.

Not when I start the machine, I want to go on the program, and press a button, and it starts timing, followed by a pop up after 85 seconds, which I can then close, and press go again.

Go with VB for this... much easier with the GUI side and easier to learn.

This is what I would recommend (free ). There are tons of tutorials all over and VB is a good language to start with that would be able to get you going the fastest.

This should be a simple program - good luck!
