Default Help a complete n00b?

Yesterday my new domain was up and I downloaded and edited a temporary template. I upped it to the server by FTP but I have no idea how to actually get it showing up in the browser.

Am I stupid or just being a n00b.

Any help is most welcome

Usually you need to create a html folder in the servers root directory. Place the website files in there and you should be able to access them from the browser.

Thanks!

I placed avarything except the images in the root folder on the server and it all works! Images are located in "images" folder under root.
Well... all except the images which are not showing... Reason for this is they are linked to my computers hard drive, sooo... I need to figure out what url to put in the code instead of my HDD paths...
