...<P>Hey all how would I add a user feedback to my site so that comments can be left and saved to the site....Do I need some sort of Database?

If you not sure that you want to take the time to use a database you could always use a flatfile. This is just a text file that will contain your comments. Then you can write to and read from that file.
What language is the site written in. You'll need something a little more powerful then HTML. Something like PHP or ASP or PERL
