If you have requests for enchancements to this program let me know. I don't really want to make a huge project out of it, but I will do small things.

A possible Java version perhaps?

Well I personally don't have any use for this handy little file because my fiance and I both just keep our password the same as we always have (8 random characters given to us by our high school for the library computers). However it is a really neat program...if I ever have to add another user account to my server (friends or whatnot), I'll probably use this to give them a password. Works great for me so far.

Also...I ATTEMPTED to edit the new password file...but that was a no go. Is there any possible way for the user to be able to make their own file name and maybe even location? That might make it easier....so if someone were to actually install this program into their "Program Files" folder...it'd be super easy to find their new password document.

I will look into it. I am not exactly sure how to make a filename a variable string. It may not be too easy in C, but if I make a Java version I would imagine it would be much easier.

I may also add range protection (so people don't enter in something silly like 999999999 for password length).

I found the longest password I could plug in was 2082833. It was kinda weird though, everything above 2084625 would spit out an error, like in my previous screenshot, but for all the numbers between 2082833 and 2084625 would cause the program to mysteriously quit. No warning or anything.

This is quite odd as I thought int could handle anything up to 2147483647.

Yeah, I am not sure?

I am working on a little function so the user can choose file name. Not sure if user will be able to choice destination of file or not.

Version 1.1.0 is now available. Include error bound checking and the ability for the user to choice the name of the password file. I do not know how to enable user to choose directory, I will research this. Future versions will also include the ability for the user to regen a random password should they not like the current randomly generated one.
