Default Finally got started on my MCPD

Finally got off my butt and decided I should get some certs.

Just got back from the Prometric testing center and I passed my first Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) test of three. It was the 70-528 test and it was pretty tough. That makes me a Microsoft Certified Professional (which mean nothing really imo).

My next test is the 70-536 (yes, I know I took them backwards :P) and that will make me a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in .Net Framework 2.0 Web Applications - I plan on taking this test in about 2 months, I should be ready by then.

Then my last test will be 70-547 And that will make me a MCPD in Web Development! August is my goal for that!

Just thought I would share.
Anyone have any opinions/thoughts on certifications?

Was the question what other certifications might be helpful?
I was thinking about getting an A+ certification ("professional" computer repair guy basically), I think that would help out a lot. The only issue is that I can't figure out how/where to get it. GRRRRR

What you are doing is pretty sweet too. What do you plan to do with those?

I am just getting it now for the future. When my contract is up and I return to the states, there are a lot of companies that need .net developers. This might set me apart from some of them.
