Default Help with Website Development!

I was asked to do a website for a local wrestling organization. Something basic that will be updated occasionally (pictures, schedules, contact information).

I've messed around doing websites in the past for my game guilds which didn't use a lot of band width using their servers or hosting it myself when I had access to decent FTP space. So, I'm pretty sure I can do something nice for them.

What I have never done before however is get a domain name and find hosting space and they want me to give them a cost estimate and I have no clue what to charge them. They will pay me to maintain and update the website as well. I'm sure since they are a non-profit organization they do not have thousands to spend. My basic concern is the cost for the domain name and hosting costs. I really do not expect to make much money for myself on a first job like this and think this would be a good 'reference' for future work.

Any suggestions at all would be sooooo awesome!

i use godaddy.com for hosting and domain name purchases. there are plenty others if you want to shop around but godaddy has always been good for me. you can by a domain name for a year for about $10 and hosting just depends on the bandwidth and storage space you want. it is really easy to get a domain name and host set up. then just FTP to it and you are all set.
