Hey guys,

My girlfriend is learning Matlab but for some reason the computer lab won't let her use the computers anymore. The school is making the students pay for the program, but right now we're in a bit of a financil bind. I was thinking that I could torrent it. Does anyone know of any other solutions about this or anyone know where I could find a torrent?

The only legal recommendations I can make are to get a free trial license (probably limited to 30 days) from MathWorks or to buy the student edition ($99 from MathWorks).

oh whoops heh heh.. i thought matlab could have been share-ware or something, never heard of it until now =\

ohhh they have a student edition? they only had a really expensive copy at the store so ill prob just order that online. mkay =] thanks

It's common in industry for multiple applications including data acquisition, analysis, and display and also for simulating the response of a system/process to a stimulus/input.


That may have included a bunch of extra toolboxes that you probably don't need; as the $99 is for the base package of MATLAB and Simulink.
