I've got my work ahead of me. I plan to bring amBX effects to the Logitech G19 keyboard.
Here's what I'm thinking. The G19 allows any combination of RGB to be selected as a color. As does the amBX system from philips (google it if you want more info.) Imagine having a gaming system where when your shot in an FPS game and the screen flashes red, not only does the lighting system around your computer flash, so does your keyboard to bring that extra level of gaming into play. The products Philips' amBX system http://www.ambx.com/videos/106-ambx-at-quakecon-2007 Logitech G19 Keyboard End Goal: Make the logitech G19 respond as an amBX lighting component in games. In all honesty, I could see this being an official G19 supported app for amBX if I get it working well enough. I'll be using not only the G19 SDK but the amBX one as well. I'll intercept the calls to the center wall washer and try to duplicate the RGB code onto the g19 keyboard. What do you all think?
