Default need help

My mothers union group picked me to be there webmaster because im cheap because my mother is the union president for that specific section of her union at her airport. I can do HTML quite easily, but what I can't do is CSS or any other forums of putting passwords into websites which they want for certain pages to be accessed. Anyone got a good tutorial, ill be working with Macromedia Dreamweaver and ColdFusion MX2004, which I bought in high school

There are tons and tons of tutorials on the web.

I would do a google search for what you're specifically looking to accomplish.

You should read up on CSS and PHP. Although I'm not sure how it integrates with Dreamweaver - I hate that program.

Well HTML is fine for page design, but password verification relies on some kind of server side action. PHP could do this, or you can use MYSQL to design a database that you can interact with.

Both rely on the server you are working with having the capability to work with PHP or MYSQL in the first place.

DreamWeaver is probably great for huge projects, but it makes creating simple pages look like a monstrosity.

learn the basics of php and then get a login script from http://www.hotscripts.com/category/php/ or any other similar website.
modifying the code for your website shouldn't be very hard and would save a lot of time instead of trying to write your on login script.
