Default Connection Issue, or browser??? Cant get to Regions.
Did not where else to put this, but i figured maybe, by SOME CHANCE, someone here would be able to help me.

For some reason, no matter what, i can not load up Regions.com to check my banking, just says "page not responding", firefox or IE8. I can go to any other website, do anything else, but just not regions. funny thing is i can access the site by going through a proxy, however i cant log in that way. obvioulsy the tech support from Verizon(my ISP) is as about as helpful as a sack of potatoes. They said contact the manufacturer of my PC, as its my problem, not theirs. (i laughed a little)

any help would be GREATLY appreciated. i have tried the normal, ccleaner, browser reset/reinstall, router/modem reset, and all that, and to no avail????

weird; just clicked it so it works
my initial guess would be that the server is doing maintenance, but nope

issue has been discovered. I guess regions has blacklisted the verizon IP's in my area as spam. hmm..

Had an issue like that - I just could not access a certain website from my home. From work or uni, fine... nobody ever quite told me what they did but now I can get to that site since I raised a bit of a ruckus over it.

Then perhaps their IT department needs to give you access while still being able to block what they want to block.

Yeah, I would assume that their IT department only works Monday through Saturday (and probably only until Noon on Saturdays).
