Warning I am a Noob (What I say maybe wrong):
From my understanding the GPU2 client with nvidia's cards does not need the CPU as much as my ATI... Which is what you are seeing!

You can run either SMP or Console along side of a GPU2 client (at least in Windows)... So I would suggest the SMP with that qaud (if you are using sig rig).

But if you are folding for team comp... Remember your GPU2 client counts as 2 cores!

SMP + GPU2 Should create some killer PPD for you!

You're definitely showing some points for the team but not at the 5000+ ppd pace FAHmon is showing.

You could put a GPU folding machine together for sub $200 with an AMD single core, 1GB ram, and a 8800GT.

First Photoshop uses a lot of CPU power and convertx2dvd I would imagine does as well.

When starting the clients, start the CPU version first, then load the GPU second.

Alright, you said the sky is the limit right? Well... all you really need is 1 machine.

Now, just hear me out. If you run all 4 GPU's on the rig with no multi-GPU configuration, it will be fine. So, you get them all decently clocked. And you will get ~22,000 PPD with 1 MACHINE.

Source Case, 680i and soso PSU but only $199.

Decent start to a folding rig. Needs, GPU, CPU, memory and HDD and OS. But for the Mobo, case and PSU not to bad.
