Well, we seem to have a general concensus about having 1 q6600 (overclocked of course) and 2 PS3's.

ddr2 is super cheap right now, mobo I have no opinion on.

we could save some money by buying from forum members...I saw the duke had a power supply for sale that was $20 less than retail.

Let's put together a three person team from among the contributors to solicit suggestions and make the final gear selection (i.e. put together the actual shopping list for admin to get online and purchase). Stick with Canadian retailers unless there's a very complelling reason to go elsewhere to avoid customs fees. Also, stick with new gear so warranties will be in tact.

The first three contributors who post will form the initial committee. Some comments have been posted in this thread, and other interested parties can pass their two cents on to this group.

Let's get this going very quickly and have a final shopping list together no later than Friday, May 16.
