Just ordered the new Mobo and CPU. We should see rig #2 up and running by mid next week(hopefully).

We should be all set for rig #2. I will post updates as soon as I get it up and running. Mobo and CPU should arrive mid week.

I think we should build Rig #3 if we can piece together something that is efficient from a cost/PPD perspective. I will chip in any funds we may be missing to build this.

Everything can be put together fairly affordable, the cards is the only snag.

Here is what we have done so far.

Rig one was about $545 in parts.

Rig two was about $650 in parts.(we had some faulty equipement on this one)

Rig one is producing 11,000 PPD, and rig two should do the same(has same hardware)

This is very decent price/ppd ratio. The problem lies in trying to get cards for a decent price. The kind of deals we got on the previous rigs aren't so easy to find these days.

If we decide to go with better cards, we would have to spend more money on the cards themselves, and we would require a bigger PSU, and that would cost more money as well.

I'll see what I/we can come up with for rig #3. I will let you know Admin.

Why not look into 4x GTS 250 with a good 650-750W PSU? Theyre relatively inexpensive.
