8ms makes absolutely no difference over 2ms if that is the black to white response because of the way your eyes retain images after you see them. It is literally physically impossible for a human being to tell the difference between 2ms black to white and 8ms black to white response times. If that is gray to gray it is a different story as that would make the black to white time higher and vault it into the realm of minor noticeablilty.

You're most likely right. I was just basing it off of most LCD buying guides I have read said you don't really want higher than 5ms.

Meh, you don't even really need to know at all what you're talking about to realize 5ms and 8ms are the same thing.

You know why? Because no what is going on, it's a difference of 2 millionths of a second, an amount of time that we most likely can't even recognize. If something is 2 millionths of a second slower, I don't care, ever, no matter it is.
