Default For Sale: E8400 Retail Box (Canada)
Selling my E8400 (bought 2 weeks ago). Picked it up while I was waiting for my Q9550 to come in at the supplier.

Please note this is the retail box version with full 3 year warranty. I have the box, heatsink etc in perfect condition.

The chip has a very low VID: 1.0625v.

It also does not appear to have a stuck thermal sensor that some of the earlier E8400's were plagued with. (see realtemp in attached screen shot)

the chip will easily prime at 4ghz with 1.35 vcore (in bios).

I've been running it at 3.6 (screenie attached) at an even lower vcore.

Q802A568 Stepping. This is the "A" version which is considered to be best for overclocking.

bump for a good deal. I live in Toronto as well. I have no money until monday, even then I'm buying a 680i and a 9800GTX. I think an e8400 and my girlfriend would cut off my nuts, and then break up with me.

I actually have a reseller license. I buy direct from the distributors (mostly comtronic and ASI).

If I need something retail though, either Canada computers or Infonec are also excellent.
