Default SOLD 2x Raptor 150 newer ADFS drives.

The wife got mad at me for having spent way too much on computer parts.
Don't really blame her. For anyone having 6 raptors lying around (2x74gb and 4x150gb) deserves it.

Anyways, I have decided to part with two of the 1500ADFS raptors.
They are the newer model than the ADFD. They difference is the 1500ADFS has sata 3.0 spec vs the ADFS sata 150 spec.

The most important part for you guys are because the drives are newer..there is also tons of warranty that is still left.

The 2 raptors have 4 1/2 yrs left on the warranty.

The payment is paypal.
Shipped to lower 48 states, Canada 10 bucks more.

120 per drive, 220 for the pair.

The ones on the right are the 1500ADFS

no, the 160 and 80 are oems.

The 1500ADFS is the newer drives with SATA 3.0 spec vs the 1500ADFD 150 spec.

But like I said, no performance difference between the two.
But because these drives are so new, buyers have more warranty left on it.
The date on the drives are 01/08, thus still 4 1/2 years on the warranty.

Hmmm, very tempting. Quick question, I'm running 3 in raid 0, what kind of gains would I see running 5 in zero, if significant?

It seems to me that each time you add one, 80mbs added to the average speed.

Almost double, but not quite.
