Hey, I think my wood is not just good, its, as the tiger says, "Ggggrrrreeeeattt!!!!

Anyway, heat loss through the case is generally not an issue. There are cases, such as the high end Zalman fanless cases, that use the case as a radiator, but for the vast majority, the case material is irrelevant with regard to cooling.

There have been published quite a few very beautiful cases made of wood. For a case that is to be exposed, there aren't too many other materials that are more beautiful. Why do you think they make furniture out of wood?
