Default SilenX or Silverstone 120mm fans?

Ok, I'm getting ready to replace my 3 stock 120mm fans that came on my Nine Hundred. They're kinda loud, and way too bright to have on while I sleep. So I'm looking for non-LED, quiet fans. From what I've read, SilenX's are great, but I've also read more than one review saying they have a tendency to blow up and spew oil or grease or whatever all over the insides of your case. My first impulse was the Silverstone FN-121. Any suggestions/comments/experience with these fans? Thanks

You could get a much cheaper solution.

Get 3x Yate Loon D12SL-12 for $3 each at www.jab-tech.com
And connect them to the old connections for your 120mm stock fans, and you'll have some of the quietest 120mm fans in the market.

What do you mean "connect them to the old connections for my 120mm stock fans"? you mean actually splice the 3-way switch into the new fans, or what? And thanks for the quick replies yall.

yeah, i checked out that site with the fans. Comes out to.. $13 with air mail?

Silverstone's are kinda expensive and a bit loud on max, but they get the job done.

Well I guess I'll go with the Yate Loons for now. If I try em out and don't like em, I'm only out like $13. Better than not liking the SilenX's and being out close to $70. Feel free to keep posting suggestions, though. I probably wont order till tomorrow some time. Thanks again

Don't listen to this guy.

You'll like the Yate Loons, trust me. You get 5 of them for the price of one Silenx fan and they're quieter to me.
