Nitteo: Make it all black and get all of your components red, then get some cathodes or LED fans.
OR keep it Silver outside and paint the insides RED + RED Components = l33t!

eh? The torx sometimes fit tight and you need to gently rock the bit back and forth to get it to fit but I am 99.999999999% positive it is a #8 as the #10 (which is the smallest a lot of torx sets come with) is slightly to big.

I like the look of this case, I use a mac with this case at uni for editing and i think it would look really nice if the two 120mm fans in the front were replaced with some LED ones.

ADDED PICS!

Spent over 6hrs last night trying to do this CaseMod.

Some obstacles:

1. PSU. I still dont know how to install this, but it looks like its going on the floor.

2. HD HOLDER. The problem is only ONE side is accessible for this case. SO YOU DONT HAVE ACCESS to the opposite side SCREWS of the HD holder.

3. REAR. No access to Network Card, Sound Card, USb. I really want to keep the Original Look. I might just purchase a USB+ Firewire Serial Port, and a wireless Card and a sound card.

4. Power and reset buttons. Havent figured out how to install it yet.

pics are looking good! I see the route you are going and seen a few mods down like that. I do not think you will have any other choice but putting the PSU on the bottom. I kept the shelf in mine and dissembled the PSU to fit there. Not something I would recommend doing again

Are you going to water cool this as well? Cant remember if you said you were or not.

I am not watercooling this one. Surprisingly, comparing my FATAL1TY Case vs the G5 Case, they are not far apart in capacity. I thought the G5 would be larger, its not.

The PSU, I am thinking of cutting a hole in the floor so that it is half in/out of the bottom of the case. that way I have access to the power switch as well. We'll see.

Here is an excellent example of the BLACK Powdercoating I am looking to do.

Drill a 3/4" hole and mount a momentary switch (or two). Just get a red LED.

Fun build so far. Is it possible to turn the HDD rack sideways?

I thought about it, thats why the HD Holder is not attached anymore. You will still have problems accessing the HD screws, but it can be done with a 45deg or an offset screwdriver.

I am looking for a Latch/Non screw HD holder system to make it easier.
