So I have the TT Armor case with two Aerocool xtreme turbine 120mm in front and a single turbine in the rear. I finally bought the 25cm side panel for it. I also installed my HD 2900XT. Being as the puts out alot of heat Im trying to keep the case a cool as possible.
__________________So my queestion is this, does anyone not use the filter element in the grills on the front of the case? Im gunna keep the plastic and metal covers but Im not sure about the filters. Im think that it might improve the air flow and there for cooling. Im also adding another HD 2900XT when I get it back from RAM....

It could improve airflow by just a tiny bit, but you would have to vacuum the thing out every month even if you think you have a clean house, lol.
But with all of those fans as intake, you will not notice a difference in temperatures, since there is probably a positive air pressure inside the case... EDIT: Something that could improve temp a bit would be to remove that plastic cover on the top of the case so that top fan could actually exhaust air out. That's what i did to my case. Heat rises and that would take a lot of the heat out of the case as long as you didn't have power cables and all that in the way,

My filters get so full of crap, I keep them in. The two degree's I lost with the panels removed totaly isn't worth it to me.

The only thing is that now dust can enter your pc from the top, but the fan exhausting kinda helps against this while the computer is on at least. I am thinking of putting in a fine metal filter on the top (painting it black) to keep the dust out.

Either way I regularly blow the whole thing out about once a month anyway.
