Default Antec 900 Advice

Hi Friends !

Just wanted to request for some advice on the Antec 900 Gamers Case's installation. I have installed all my components and the fans. I have also installed a Antec VCOOL below my 8800 GTS.

Regarding the extra fan provisions, I have already used the one on the Case Window. I just wanted to request you to kindly guide me on how can i install the second extra 120mm fan.

I mean I know that it fits in one of the Drive Cages. I wish to install the fan in the first drive cage (from top) as I have installed my Harddisk in the second (the lowest) Cage. Also I thought that if i can install the fan in this position, it will directly blow on my 8800 GTS to keep it even cooler.

The problem I'm facing is, that all the cables are almost collected on the face of this Drive Cage and I dont see any room for the fan to fix in. Does the fan go on the 'inside' (towards the front face of the case) of the Drive Cage so that it doesnt come in contact with the cables ? I dont see how it can be fitted on the outside (towards the CPU etc...)

Sorry if I'm not able to ask my question clearly... I hope someone understand what I want to ask and will give me some advice...

Thanks !
Kush

Yes you have to take the black fan holder off the drive cage, and put the fan on the inside, and then reattach the fan holder to the drive cage.

Here. You'll put that black fan holder somewhere off the drive cage. Heres a picture of what I'm talking about. If you have wires in the way, then you might have to spend some time with cable management.

yep it will fit, mine blows directly accross an 8800gts. You have to do some cable management and get those wires cleared out of the way. Works like a champ.

Peace
