replace all the fans in your case with sythe s-flex fans, that should be good enought for your system

Defectively wired fan, You can see in the picture all three of the wires coming directly out of the three pin connector.

Two choices- depending on your comfort level and location of wire-break.
1) Just splice the wire back into the fan w/ trusty wire-nut/ splice-crimp/ electrical tape! Or solder it (Best -If Ya Can)
2) Remove that single fan and send it back to Coolermaster for Replacement
Their RMA department is superb, expecialy as it's just a fan, they may not even want the original back (Send photo 1st )

You don't reeallly need that side fan to enjoy your luvvvly shiny new CM690

in my sig rig i have 2 fans in the front (intake), one in the back (exhaust), one in the bottom (intake), all are yate loons, i put the blue led stock fan from the front and put in in the bottom just for the ambient blue glow

i dont have any side or tops fans running. the second one i have in the front is mod mounted in the 5.25 bays

All my parts are coming in by monday. Now since that fane is gone i replaced it with some fan I had in my old case. its small screwed it in the second to smallest hole i believe. Now is that safe to start the build or should I wait and get better fans

if ur plannin to run all that. u may have to do a little mod to get it nicely cooled. i replaced all my fans with Yate Loons. Check out my project tuxedo if u wanna see.
