Hello everyone, I'm new here!
__________________I have a p180 that I've modded pretty extensively already, but I'm still questioning my fan setup. Does anyone have any definitive info on whether negative or positive pressure works better in this case? Currently I have 2 Yate Loons in the upper chamber, and a modded CNPS9700 with a 120mm fan. For intake I have a Medium speed YL, and for exhaust I have a low speed YL. In the lower chamber I have no fan other than the PSU. The system is quite quiet and CPU idles at 28-30 average (lowest I've seen was 22, though!) I've noticed that when I put my hand in front of the medium intake fan, I can feel air being expelled, curiously enough. Is this backpressure? Does this mean I have too much intake and not enough exhaust? Should I change things and have 2 low speed Yates in the upper chamber? Or should I have the medium fan as exhaust, and the low as intake? Thanks

postive pressure works better due to air is being pulled through the filters unlike negitive pressure where the air is drawn in through every gap in the case

Filters, what filters?!
__________________ Those impede airflow pretty badly ya know. I got rid of them, the metallic grille, and I thinned out the plastic grille too. I don't mind cleaning the system every week or two, its refreshing. Surprisingly it doesn't get too dirty anyway.Ignoring dust intake, and assuming a clean system, which is better? I'm still curious about my fan blowing air the opposite direction.

Stay thirsty, my friends

i would recommend negative pressure and have more air going out then coming in since it encourages more air to flow in.

Regarding the backpressure you felt on the intake - yes, that would result from too much intake. I also noticed this when I used a Silverstone FM121 as a side intake fan; I could feel a small bit of air flowing outwards which I assume was hitting my motherboard and forcing its way back out (the FM121 was simply not practical in this case).
Definitely try for more negative pressure, seeing as airflow impedance has been resolved by your modding. I'd try switching the intake mid-speed Yate with the exhuast low-speed Yate for starters. Good luck
