Default My review on the Raidmax Smilodon Extreme Black.

I would seriously recommend getting this case. It is amazing.

I got it for my build, below in my signature. It is super roomy to fit everything inside of it.
It has a removable motherboard tray, so I can just push a button on the side and it pops out. If I can find a picture with both sides open, I will edit my post.
NOTE: When I got it, the top light out of the three was out. So, a few days ago, I emailed raidmax, and they sent me a new set, FREE OF CHARGE!!!
Installing was kind of a pain, but it was worth it. And, I added the extra strand of lights inside of the case for even more glowage!

Pros: Roomy, cool lights. etc etc etc (see above)
Cons: The light was out?

P.S. It's called the helicopter, because it comes with a billon fans inside. Actually it comes with 4, not counting the gfx/cpu/ optional hard drive fan
theres a slot for the hard drive fan, too

I had that case. I thought it was a pain and way too small. It also felt a bit cheap and not very high quality. I agree, the removable motherboard tray is a nice feature, but it's too small IMO, and cable management is very difficult.

Here's the shot you were looking for i personally love it. the only complaint i have is depending on your mobo's setup, the video card may be directly behind the top HD bay, making it pretty much useless as there is very little clearance for connectors. I didn't have this problem with my MSI Neo-Gen, but the Biostar TA770's PCI-E slot is one spot lower on the expansion slots, so it's directly behind my top HD tray.

thanks!
dont like most raidmax cases but this one i may have to look further into for my next build, +rep 4 you.
for future reviews you may want to consider giving details on how loud it was with the stock fans in, how it is for airflow, how many drive bays, and so fourth.

I have used the Smilodon for several builds for customers. It is a solid performer. I like a real solid case leaving my shop...the thing is a tank.
