Nothing much on the build. I made a few small covers to finish up the management, but nothing big. I want to fill the loop by Sunday tho.
I like the look of that expansion bay. Might have to get one.

Luckily I work in a machine shop, so mine got some new feet last night. They are delrin and aluminum, the delrin I got from ebay, and the aluminum for the feet bottoms was the last remnant of a piece of bar we used for a run of parts.
__________________![]() I radiused the bottom edge of the feet so they slide super easy on carpet, and I made them nice and tall to keep the case off the floor a bit. They are held in with 3/8" Stainless steel bolts. ![]() This is my cable management with no cutting/fabrication so far. I feel I've done pretty well considering that this case doesn't exactly shine in that area in stock form: ![]() I removed the fan grilles/front filter, and mounted a couple of Zalman fan controllers using some of the stock screws and some extra holes on top of the HDD bays. As you can see both CPU and GPU are fully passive. With those mods the case is essentially silent, and my temps are surprisingly low, even with a moderate OC.

that looks awesome. especially those feet.
i bet that system is whisper silent. I have 6 100cfm fans in mine and it gets LOUD.

Has anyone considered adding a side intake fan? there's plenty enough room for one. that clunky PCI exhaust fan might get in the way of a larger 250mm side fan.

Yes I modded the PCI/GPU fan cut a hole in the alum box that holds the fan so it could blow straight thru and drilled the case side full of holes and turned the fan around so that it blows in. I found this case in the stock setup has too much exhaust and not enough intake.
__________________I also drilled out 3 of the front drive bay covers and put another 120mm in the front blowing in. Now I have 3 fans blowing in and 2 out. Oh I also taped up the vents above the 120mm fan on the back as air from this fan was simply going round and round.

I noticed lower temps on the CPU. It seems like fresh air intakes from these vents, cooling the CPU and then exhausts out of the fan.

I can't really see the air circulating, so this is only conjecture. But at stock, the case has negative pressure so air is going to want to intake at every possible place. So as the rear fan is exhausting air out, the easiest place for air to enter is the vent above the fan. My CPU fan and the rear fan creates a little wind tunnel. The best place for this fresh air to enter the wind tunnel is at the front of the CPU fan. You could say that the air is recirculating, but when the air exits the case, it probably drops a good number of C.

I got mine up!! I know the cable management sucks I wanted to get it together. I love this case!!
The fan that sits over the vid card blows out. do you think it would better to have the fan blowing in on the cards etc???
