got four, just wondering where you all put them for the best lighting, and cable hiding.

I like to put mine behind/below/above the board, but I run dfi boards which have UV reactive slots. I always like to hide the cathodes so they light but can't be directly seen.

I like to place them at the edge of the case (have mine at the top and bottom right above and below the window)

yeah, i agree. I'm building a rig for a friend, and I'm hiding the cathodes so they can't be directly seen, but provide a good amount of light. tops and bottoms of cases work well.

That seems like the standard now-days. I always see them tucked away but still lighting everything up. It looks the most sleek (for lack of a better word)..

The only way to find out is to just put them in different places and see what you like best. I've put mine in so many different spots until I found the current places which I really like
![]() I have one of my cathodes in a really strange place, but it works well so I'll keep it there It's in between my second 5.25" bay and my PSU I'll try to get pics if I can.

I would put them around the edges of your side panel with the window. Keep them away from the eye but giving a good light effect. Hopefully your window doesn't take up the whole side panel.

behind the motherboard? do you put them on the side door itself or in the little hangdown that the door connects to.

yea, behind the little hang down. It is pretty much a personal preference. I used to have one on the hang down and one on the side of the drive bays. Those two cathodes gave off enough light to my liking.
