Default suggest a case

Ok so my Bday is coming up and for the past 4 years Ive just gotten money, (im turining 19) But my mom wants to get me a present so Im thinking of letting her buy me a case to start my new college build.

I was thinking a Antec 900 at frist, its functional, but not too pretty.

So if anyone can suggest a smooth looking case (shiny with nicely placed lights not too many tho) thats also cool and around (or under wich is good too) 100$ that would be cool. My favorite color is green, neon green and blue.

+rep to however suggest the case I like the best

and if your wondering why I just dont go and look for myself, I have but I haven't found anything that I truly liked for the looks and functionality, theres the ones that are like ooh shiny but not gonna pay 200$ for it.

Problem though is the $100 price mark.. have you thought about maybe adding a little of your own money to the case purchase....

Also what size you looking for mid tower, full? or maybe even thinking of a small micro build?

Are you going to be water cooling or air cooling? just some other things we need to know to help ya...

Raidmax Smilodon maybe?

edit: ok agreed that this case comes nowhere near the greatness of the CM690, but the OP seems more fascinated with (green)aesthetics than with build quality/functionality/etc

Yeah, I would agree with the CM690... it's probably the best product for the ~$100 mark... great cooling and awesome looks

The only issue people tend to have with it when juxtaposed with it's competitor (antec 900) is that it lacks a side window... however, the issue can easily be solved with a dremel, some plexiglass, and strong double sided tape... modding it yourself also allows you to place side fans wherever you like

As for the green lighting - simply purchase some green LED lights and green Cold Cathodes... no sense is compromising for a crummier case just because it comes with green LED lights at stock (*cough* smilodon *cough* )

Lian Li for great build quality and functionality.

The new NZXT looks like a better Antec900 to me.

id suggest a p180. it is a great airflow case, if you have the desk space for it. and it looks way better than the 900.
