I have just recieved this from Japan :

I have just got a response from the company for Soldam that they have decided the business discontinued! it was just announced last Thursday! June 19th what a pitty!

this is their comment for the business---sorry i used the transration software so you might find some line does not make sense!

>>This time, the partial assignment of the intellectual property right etc. concerning WiNDy will be received along with the business contraction of sordum Ltd., and our company reproduce the WiNDy business newly. The scheme interruption was done through necessity though this company won the long-cherished plural business support and had made an effort aiming at the reproduction of the WiNDy business. Judge that the brand value of this product can be reproduced originally, and be maintained by strengthen on the production side being done like the maintenance of the literary property and securing and the price revision etc. of the sales route while the reform advances well aiming at the recovery, and this business, it was judged that it aimed to achieve the maintenance of the home production by injecting DNA metallic old Hoshino industrial Ltd., and our reproduction of the employee management was possible.
Please our company wants must to reproduce an original quality and the grade by coming back to the starting point of the WiNDy cradle, and succeeding to the manufacturing know-how and the manufacturing knowhow metallic old Hoshino industrial Ltd., to be achieving the effort to the industry reorganization and the revival through a complete revival of the WiNDy product, and understand, and to receive similar support and the rooting so far in the future.
It asks to understand because the customer individual will correspond promptly when our company causes the inconvenience like the delivery etc. of the product though will work on the reproduction of the WiNDy brand by one's best repeatedly. <<

How long were these guys in business?

I have been building computers (all sizes) since dirt turned to dust and until I came to Overclock.net, I had never even heard about them.
