Default Question on TJ07 Window

I've been offered a TJ07 in very good condition, but the window is cracked. Too much to just live with it. I was wondering how this window is attached, the thickness of the panel, and what type is it (plexi, acrylic, lexan, etc.).

I'd love to just buy the case at a great discount, then replace that side window for $30 or so. Or I'd even buy a new side panel with a window to replace it. If I buy the case I will contact Silverstone, but as I'm not sure I will buy the case I don't want to bother them.

So, here are my two questions:

1. Describe the TJ07's side window. Attachment method, thickness, and type.

2. Can I buy a replacement side panel?

Thanks for your help OCN, REP+ for helpful answers!

The side panel looks like this.

Yeah, I was just wondering if I could buy a new one from them directly. I wouldn't expect them to replace it for me. Thanks for the link, but it's for the TJ09, not 07. Thanks for the help, though, REP+!

Ummmmm, that's also for the TJ09. The TJ07 panel will have mesh at the bottom of it, like this.

You can pickup a new sheet of acrylic for like £5, jigsaw it to size and stick it on the inside of the panel, job done!

I'd recommend three people for you to talk to about the TJ07, as I know they have some great experience modding it. One is posted just above me, marcus000, then there's Syrillian. The other guy is the creator of the Murderbox. His name is Charles and his email is on his page. He's very friendly, and he may be able to help you.

Hopefully one of those three guys can point you in the right direction. Good luck! I think all in all, you got a great deal on a great case with a minor cosmetic flaw.
