Ok, so I tried to tun on my pc this afternoon and the button didn't work so I had to take out my gpu and push the pwr button on the mobo. I have it the cables plugged in the correct slots. Does anyone know where to get another or how to fix it? I believe that something is wrong with the cable but I'm not 100% sure.

Are you sure the two headers were plugged in correctly to the FPanel on the motherboard? I would re read your mobo manual and make sure you plugged it in correctly. Power buttons don't usually just die. If it really did just break, email the manufacturer and see if they can send you a replacement.

If you have a multimeter you can check that the power button shorts the two leads it is connected to. You can also check for an open wire connected to the switch. When checking for open wires I like to use the continuity check on the multimeter. The multimeter sends a small amount of current through the wire and if the wire isn't broken it will beep. No beep and the wire is broken somewhere. You can also check for continuity by checking resistance.
