Hello,
__________________I have Antec 900 and when i try to go into standy mode (S3) in bios, everything powers down, fans go off & lights go off, monitor goes into standby, but then like 5-10 seconds later everything seems to power back up, fans back on & leds, monitor stays in standby mode and if i move the mouse I am appear to be still in standby from XP's perspective. Is this how this case is supposed to work, or is it something else. I would relaly like the system to stay in asleep, otherwise i will need to shut it off all the time. ANy ideas or suggestions? My k/m are not wireless. Thanks!

Hello makan and welcome to OCN,
Firstly, could you fill-in your system specifications in the User CP at the top of this page so we know what parts are in your computer. I have the same case as you, and problems linked to shutoff/standy are handled by the motherboard, the case merely hold everything in place. On my motherboard (Asus P5E-VM DO), shutoff doesnt work (it reboots after a few seconds) it's just a design flaw.

Ok - filled in specs.
__________________It's a bit noisy in my room atm, so i wasnt sure if only the case fans and leds are comming back on or everything inside is back on as well. But sounded like everything, need to examine it more. I'll start to research if Mobo is the issue, that makes allot more sense ![]() Thanks!

You should search the System log right after the failed standy-by to see what is actually waking the computer back up. I had this issue and it was a "generic USB device" which ended up being my KVM. Look for a power related descripiton under the Source column.
