I had a pair of blue LED antec tri-cools laying around. I installed one in the door and the other in the internal bracket just in front of my video cards.

I also have a scythe ultra Kaze fan on my cpu that is a jet engine.

With no way to control them externally, I had to listen to them rumble along at full speed.

I happened to have an old enermax silver aluminum fan controller (controls 6 fans) that also has a pair of thermal temp sensors. It also has fanspeed monitoring for two of the six channels.

Sanded it down a bit and then painted it.

I put the two tri-cools on channel 2 and 3 (channel 4-6 are unused).

I put the ultra kaze on channel one (the rpm of this fan show up on the controller).

Now I can dial any or all of the 3 fans up or down at will.

Isn't recycling great?
