I am not sure why eveyone says the 9700 is a bad choice for a quad. pumping 1.525 volts through my phenom at load it only hits 57c.

ya? Run small ffts and see what it does.

Yeah...seriously lol. Run a small FFTs test for 10 mins or so and then we'll see about good temps with that cooler.

I finally started ordering parts for my next build and the Antec 1200 was easily the choice for me. Arrived earlier yesterday. Pics later of my naked case and psu at least =)

I immediately pulled it apart to get a sense for it. Cannot wait to work with this case. What is the verdict with stock fans? Pm is fine if you want to reduce clutter.

Also, do any of you guys do anything to shield from dust while not using? My old case came with a decent cover that I kept to this day but is falling apart on me. Wouldn't mind getting something to baby the new system. Ideas?
