I have yet to recieve them (tomorrow arrival) but i believe they are 3 pin, with a 3-4pin molex connector, as well as a speed control device that you can ut in an available pci slot. Could be wrong, boredgunner knows for sure on that since he has them. I will be hooking them up to a fan controller. I have everything except rear exhaust on a fan controller. I think everyone should have one. Runnning everything full blast usually doesent work. I have found that playin a little with all the fan locations speeds i can get much better temps at much lower sound.

Nice pics. Did you cut your own window? Or did you have someone cut it for you? Looks good and what kind of screws did you use on the window?

Well, I got in all my CM fans today. Have them installed now, all 7 of them. The noise is MUCh reduced. I do have a concern though. These are 2000rpm fans. I am getting, at best, 1750. Though i have the 2 on the CPU controlled via fan controller, they are on a 3-pin "Y" splitter connected to the fan controller. Could i be loosing power because Im splitting them? I have the kama bay and bottom intake like that, as well as the 2 on the drive cages. 1590-1770 is all im getting. Just curios. Other than that they are great. Idle temps on cpu on idle and load are actually up about 4C per core.. Not a deal breaker though. Its still great and alot quieter.

That's odd, I have 5 of those fans and they all spin 1900-1950 RPM according to my old fan controller. Compared to my Antec TriCool 2000 RPM fans which only do 1850-1900 RPM. I don't use that splitter.

Let me explain what I want to do, then ill let you guys tell me if im a moron or not...lol
__________________I have a GTX 285 SC. Its louder than what i like, so I got the AC Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 cooler for it. Havent put it on yet. I want to SLI 2 of GTX 285 SC both with that cooler on them. I finally saw a pic of someone with that setup, and it can be done, but at the expense of cavering up ALL PCIe slots. Which would mean I would loose my x-fi titanium sound card. Thats my situation. Here is what I am planning on doing about it: Since there is a marginal difference at best when doing games and such at my resolution (24" monitor 1920x1080) between the GTX 275 and GTX 285, I think i am going to buy the MSI Twin Frozr GTX 275 OC, and get 2 of them. They have dual fans, and run ALOT quieter. A friend at work got one of these and man does it make a difference! Its louder then the regular gtx 285 when at 100%, but it cools 15C better. If the fan is left at under 70%, its not loud, and it cools better at 70% than the 285 at 100%, which is loud. That, and after rebate the 275's will only cost me $199 a piece, and ill get my sli setup and get to keep my X-fi. So, what do you guys think. The 275's in sli will destroy anything you can throw their way. Im not benchmarking so I dont care about menial scores and th such. Plus, the price is very attractive. I am ready for critiques and insutls..lol..bring it on!

Honestly I think the 275's in SLI would be more than enough for todays gaming, overkill even. You should be more than happy with just the 275's and the addon card cooler that comes with the case will help cool those cards too.

I'm building a system with an i7 920, p6t deluxe v2, w/ gtx 275 ftw sli, w/ slight overclock.
__________________I was thinking about doing the following: Replacing the top 2 stock exhaust fans with 3 120mm fans, installing two 120mm behind the hdd rack, one 120mm on the bottom for intake, replacing the stock 120mm exhaust fan in the rear, a push/pull setup on my prolimatech megahalems cpu cooler with two 120mm's, install a 120mm on the rear external air duct for the gpu's. I'm thinking of using all nf-p12's for low noise, despite the fact that they're more expensive than other fans. Also, I'm wondering if I did go ahead with all those fans, if I would need extra power connectors or some thing in order to power them all. I've never tried to provide power to so many case fans. Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks!
