I wouldnt even call it vibration at this point. I can only notice it, when i stick my ear very close to the side panel ... small impulses, thats all.
Like the guy on CM official forums said, it is probably faulty fan. Yeah. i tried to tighten screws (which wasnt tight to the max on default btw.) I am getting better temps without 2nd top fan it seems anyway.

I have a question about painting this beast. How hard is it to take it all apart. I really don't want to have to drill out pop rivets, but it seems liekely that i will. Want to paint the exterior blue and the interior black. The I/O panel seem like it going to be a real headache. So anyone that can give some tips on this I would appreciate it. I am rather proud of the build, since it was my first one of the most current platforms. I am usually a generation (or 2) behind, so I may as well showcase the hell out of it before the 6 core comes out early next year..lol

Check out This Review On Youtube, At the end it will show you pretty much how far you can get the case apart without drilling....
__________________From there it is pretty much up to you on whether or not you want to do the masking or not. I am not planning on drilling the rivets out for mine, but I am only planning on painting the inside black and masking off the rest. I'll let you know how mine goes if you don't have yours done by this weekend, If all goes well thats when I will do mine.

Which fan controller matches the black version of the case best? Anyone is using either Scythe or Sunbeam?

The normal Rheobus fits the color scheme VERY well, I can't speak for other controllers, though. You'll have a time and a half getting ANY controller installed, though, it's a tighter fit than even an optical drive and you're only securing the front screw holes, which means the push pins aren't nearly good enough. One screw per side is all it takes, but it is somewhat of a hassle, though it's like this with any other case, so it's not so bad. Just make sure it's lined up properly and it won't be too difficult.

I have the scythe in mine. Was a bit of a hassle, but worth it. I have used a fan controller on my past 3 builds, and ill never go back. The new Zalman MC3 (something like that) looks amazing if you havent seen it yet. I went with the scythe for the blue though and its ease of use. Though i dont get my full rpm with t set up like i have it with "y" connectors, Its actually controlling 8 fans. I may have to change to one that has more power delivery.

Thanks for replies guys.
Mezzler, you probably mean ZALMAN ZM-MFC3. It looks pretty sharp indeed. ![]() Another choice is ZALMAN MFC1 (looks pretty much like brushed alluminium to me, could match the case perfectly) ![]() Or I'll just go with classic Sunbeam Rhobeous Extreme or Scythe Kaze Master

It is a beauty isnt it! I just did a little research, so if you are getting the KAZE make sure you only have 1 fan per channel as it only supplies 12w per channel. If you have "Y" extenders like me and have 2 fans per channel they will be under volted and not spin at nearly the speed they are spose to. Example, my CM R4 are spinning at 1620RPM max, and they are rated at 2000rpm. I have them on my TRUE 120, and my temps are still great. 40-47 per core idle, up to 78 on prime. Very acceptable, and quiet, so i dont really know why i am complaining..lol Just thought you should be aware of it
