PERFORMANCE POWDER COATING in Greenbrier Arkansas, just behind the GRT race car place. I just dropped it off about an hour ago for "traffick Blue" powder coating. The whole case, inside and out. He says maybe 40-60 dollars total. I will actually be going to pick it up this afternoon. Amazingly fast turnaround time. I still dont have my accent pieces painted black yet!

I'll post some pics of the pieces when I get back home with them. Roughtly around 6pm if I have time to post them. I am very excited at the moment! WoHoo!

Greenbrier is about 50 miles north of little rock. Makes it about 2 hours away from you i believe. And no, you dont have to take it apart from the rivets. The only rivets i did remove is the bracket for the PSU, as it had that soft cushion on it that couldnt go through powder coating. Only 4 rivets (1/8 bit drills em out) had to be removed, and it in no way affects the stability of the case. Ill put it back on with some self tapping screws.

Default New Blue Powder Coat!!!!!

Here it is in all its blue glory! Very happy about how it turned out, and the fact it was only $43.67 to do it all, and got it back 3 hours after i dropped it off. Enjoy the pics...will be a few days before its put together, need to get another gasket for the PSU to sit on.

Well, the parts that came black were left untouched, I saw to that. Everything that was un-painted before is now in flat black with an anodized finish, so it's not particularly shiny, but there is a cool sheen to it when ambient light hits it. So yes, it's really nice, but not really that shiny. I didn't want shiny in the first place, really, it would have been distracting as I pieced together the system.

Mine is i guess what you call medium shiny. Not like a clear coated painted finish, but still pretty shiny...just not to overpowering. Lovin it!

Default POP...its broke..kinda

Just for all you out there who havent done this...if you overtighten the front panel black bols and hear a loud "snap," its the sound of the nut on the interior panel (the one you cant reach) breaking free of its housing. So, i cant tighten it down, and i cant get it out..lol Fun times. At least it looks good. I also have sleeved all the interior case wires in blue and black. Ran out of sleeving and shrink so i couldnt finish my second KAZE MASTER. Oh well, ill keep that one hidden for now. A few more days and it should be up and ready!

First of all, thanks to everyone that has posted here, your posts have been very helpful and interesting to read. Quick question.

I've mounted additional fans on the bottom and on the back of my hard drive cage. Is the general consensus here that in addition, it's best to flip the 230mm fan closest to the front of the case, so that it's drawing air in instead of being used as an exhaust?

I vaguely remember reading that being suggested, though can't remember on what page.

Thanks.
