Here are some teaser pics as the rest of the case is still in pieces.

What do you guys think?

I also took the brackets off my two video cards so I can paint them gloss black like the perforated pci brackets that came with the case.

I think it looks sick man! Put in some ccfl's and watch that thing glow.
Remind me of the "ground effect" lights that were popular. We used to paint the wheel wells white on our cars to add to the glow.

I was going to do this with a mod :P I like the contrast.

The red would've been to flashy for this understated, elegant case IMO. If I still had the Lian Li Armorsuit, red would've been perfect.

Sweet. Looking forward to the pics.

Edit; out of curiosity, I decided to run HWMonitor again to see what difference, if any, was made by moving my hard drives to the lowest bays (which was intended to improve cable management) and having slightly cleaner overall internal cabling. With the screencap of the results, one last image I'd forgotten about, which shows the back panel with my parts installed. Again, treat the temps as idle. Given that my board accommodates no overclocking whatsoever, I'll hold off on temps during heavy loads until I have "Deep Blood" (name for the system with new internals) done.

I was thinking of putting together a system very similar to yours (but maybe using a Nvidia 285 or 295 instead of the 4870 X2 you used). Would you mind posting your temp readings to give us an idea of how well your setup works?

Cheers

Guess I'm the first one to break the clips on the front plate

A tip, you don't have to really be careful I don't think when removing/installing the plate. Just make sure you are putting pressure on both clips instead of just one. I placed pressure on just one clip and both broke

Aww! Well that sucks. I already have the best removal process in the OP, I just figured it was a given to apply even pressure. Maybe it's possible for CM to send you a new plate?

Just goto www.Coolermaster.com and fill out a Erma/replacement part request and they should send you a new one. They are very good like that, that makes them the best case company out there. I broke the front interface panel on my HAF-932 and they are sending a replacement for free.
