I have both.

I would actually prefer the cosmos S except for the fact that you cannot install tower coolers into it in conjunction with the door fan.

the black interior on the 1200 is nice but the cosmos s does not have a window (and its aluminum not SECC) so interior paint is really moot.

the cosmos S wire management is better than the 1200 (although the 1200 is good too).

consider that the cosmos S fully loaded (like mine): 200mm fan in door and 8, 120mm fans (4 intake, 4 exhaust)

the antec 1200, 200mm top exhaust, 3 front intake, 2 rear exhaust, 1 120 in door, and 1 internally in cage

Well spoke! the Antec 1200 is massive, and awesome. as others have said, the stock fans do produce a little bit more noise, but the airflow design is outstanding, the black interior finish is SOO pimpin, and the cable management is just great! here's a shot of my idle temps; ill post another one of my load temps in a bit...

Here's my load temps, this is with everything under full load. and with case fans on high, this thing is a friggin wind tunnel! (btw, i use the AzenX blitztorm GPU slot cooler for extra GPU cooling) and note, my CPU is OC'ed @ 4.2 GHz and GPU @ 765/1530/1300.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info. How many fans did the Cosmos S come with and how many did you add? Both of em look great but I think I like the Cosmos design better, but I might do the inside blue instead of red. How are your temps, I'm planning on overclocking my i7 920 and cooling with a TRUE ( hope it fits)

The TRUE will not fit in the Cosmos S as it is currently designed. Coolermaster indicated to me that there will be a revision release of the door fan that was supposed to be released in December but no sign of it yet.

Two options then: remove the fan from the door (the door is mesh so there will still be some airflow) or buy the optional full windowed door (which looks pretty snazzy).

The cosmos S comes with 3 120mm fans (only one of them red) and the 200mm door fan. One on top, one in back and the red 120 up front. You can add two more on top, one on the bottom (intake is best). To add two more in the front, you either need the coolermaster 4-3 modules or what I used, 3, thermaltake Icages (they look nicer as they are aluminum as opposed to the SEC used for the coolermaster module). The icages also have better airflow. Also the icages include a blue thermaltake LED thunderblade 120mm fan (so its less blue LED fans for you to buy).

The antec 1200 comes with the top 200mm, the 3 front 120mm and rear 2, 120mm. you can also add two more (which I did).

Below is a pic of the cosmos S with three icages showing

Here are some shots of the Cosmos S with the windowed door. Quite a nice look. Seeing as you can pile 8 fans into it, the temps will still be very close to room ambient.
