Default Thanks

Thanks for your info. If I order the windowed case do you think loosing that 200mm door fan will be worth it, how much hotter do you think is it going to get. I know the HD 4870 X2's produce a lot of heat so that why I am nervous about loosing that big fan and my temperatures going up.

Check it out, while I was typing I found this on how to mod the side fan to get the TRUE to fit, maybe I'll just do that.

Two options then: remove the fan from the door (the door is mesh so there will still be some airflow) or buy the optional full windowed door (which looks pretty snazzy).

The cosmos S comes with 3 120mm fans (only one of them red) and the 200mm door fan. One on top, one in back and the red 120 up front. You can add two more on top, one on the bottom (intake is best). To add two more in the front, you either need the coolermaster 4-3 modules or what I used, 3, thermaltake Icages (they look nicer as they are aluminum as opposed to the SEC used for the coolermaster module). The icages also have better airflow. Also the icages include a blue thermaltake LED thunderblade 120mm fan (so its less blue LED fans for you to buy).

The antec 1200 comes with the top 200mm, the 3 front 120mm and rear 2, 120mm. you can also add two more (which I did).

Below is a pic of the cosmos S with three icages showing

Cosmos S, all the Cosmos serie series have great cooling, just don't use crappy fans, also whoever said there are issues with the HDD racks, mine run cooler in than this than they did in my 900.

Default Cosmos Fan

I might just cut a part of the side fan to fit the TRUE. I love the way Cosmos looks with the windowed case but It sucks that the window doesn't come with a fan. I dunno , might just go with the Antec 1200 to make it easier

Does anyone have the Cosmos S with blue led fans instead of red, I'm thinking about doing it when I get mine, wondering if anyone has any pictures.
