I remembered that I have a 25cm fan with a pass-through molex plug on it so I did "surgery" on it. Apparently there is a little "door" on one side of the plug. Pop that guy open and then use the tool to remove the connectors - or at least I hope that's how it will work with the tool. Confirmation of this is still welcome!

Any other suggestions or help with my build, people? There has to be a VFD out there that does what I want...

On a side note, last night I did some sleeving of the front panel cables (power switch, reset switch, and IDE LED). It was kind of a pain since you can't take the front panel off like with my armor but I managed to get it to look good. I'll post pictures and such when I start my build log.

Alright, so I purchased several feet of both 1/8" sleeving and 1/8" heat shrink tubing. I think what I tried to use was 1/8" sleeving, but never hurts to get more since it is perhaps the most commonly used type. At any rate, the wires on the TriCools are way too short to do what I usually do with smaller wire bundles (triple them up at the heat shrink tubing locations to ensure a tight grip), so I ordered the heat shrink tubing to completely cover the wiring should the new sleeving I get indeed be the same size I've been using.

I have also seen that LCDStudio is compatible with this LCD device:
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=24599. Does anyone know if it is the graphical version of that device or the character version? I assume it's the graphical one, but it's more expensive so I'd like to be sure before I pull the trigger.
