Man maybe I'll just get one of those instead of building one. That looks pretty rad. Also is there a fan behind that carbon fiber-looking sheet that cools your HDDs or do they stay cool enough without a fan?

actually i have a fan that attaches to the outside blowing in onto the HDD's. they are still ok temp without the fan but with its much better. the sheet of carbon fiber is just to hide the sata cables as it looks nasty

I decided to buy myself a DD Torture Rack Mini until I get my granite tech bench built. I'll post pics when it gets here.

There it is, I know I know, the cable management is horrible but its still a work in progress, I've started out by drilling those three holes in the back for some airflow and later on I'm going to drill some holes for the cables. What I'm planning no doing is hiding my entire rig behind my monitor you see in the corner there. If you put it up on the slot, it fits perfectly, but unfortunately it left no room for airflow so thats why I cut those fan holes in the back. As soon as I get my cable management holes done, the monitor will go up and hide the entire rig. And the best part is, the sliding glass door still has room to close. Also on top of the little cubby here(This is one little part of a big table), lies my sony tv(model in sig I believe) and my sound system receiver, so this sucker acts as a gaming, web browsing, and an htpc(still working on a sound card though).
Also, how do you guys like the ghetto fan hooks I put up to cool my gpu heatsinks?
Why not cut the back open and put a 3 foot or bigger fan next to it?
