Oh neat. I actually drove through Spearfish two weeks ago. But yeah I didn't use mesh. Just a 4 1/4" holesaw and a 5/16" cobalt drill bit for the screw holes. I've been too poor to buy a fan grill so far. D:

I would suggest forgetting about that fan you bought, and use this HDD Cage.
You'll find it's much easier, and allows for HDD's if you have bigger video cards like myself.

hmm. after staring at the case for about 30 mins there is no way to get a second fan other than having another HDD cage. ima leave the fan on the side then and tighten the screws a lil more and work on gettin another one of those ^_^

i would jsut given a suggestion that sounds pretty solid as far as installing a second fan in the front of my case above the stock fan that came in the front.
__________________i was suggested in using some zip-ties to attach the fan in the front. good idea/bad idea you think its worth it? im kinda new to this stuff so when someone has time lemme know thnx

Yeah zip ties are always a good idea if you want a quick and easy job done with securing things. But if at all possible, use screws and, if you really want a good job, grab some fan grommets to reduce vibrations and keep everything quiet.
Also be aware, the more intake fans you have, the more dusty it'll be. Get some filters. Yeah I made the club one night when I was bored. Its a great case and I figure people who have it need to express their love too.

got the fan in with the cable ties. not 100% sure how well it works cuz its set back a little with the ties. and its pulling air thru the dustfilters and the faceplate. was thinking about eventually setting my computer up on top of a desk and not having the faceplate in so it wont restrict air flow. not sure if thats a good idea or not. but it works nad i can feel it pulling air in the case ^_^
__________________![]() and the fan in action =p ![]() i did tighten the cable ties more and they took a lot of adjusting because of how the faceplate snaps in the front. i think i did a ok job.
