EDIT: Here is the thing, I made it for some other forum, it's my CoD 4 user name. I can edit the glow to be blue, and get some blue camo for the lettering and make it say Storm Sniper and have the 'o' in sniper be the cross hair. like I said, up to you. Where the system specs go, we could put that phrase from that movie Jarhead "This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine, without me my rifle is nothing, with out it I am nothing". EDIT #2: Pics of my rig are in my review, which has been updated to include said pics lol.

I created a red one for the Storm Sniper Club, I did what I thought looked good so obviously if anyone else has input, just let me know and I can change it, or you can submit your own. I didn't think the blue looked good at all, the blue glow with black lettering looked good but the blue camo lettering with blue glow looked horrible. I can upload if you want, in the mean time here is the red one.

I think that it's pretty sweet. I have no idea how to do any of that so I'm impressed. My only input is that a blue would suite it better, and match the case LEDs.

Yeah, I will upload the blue one sometime today to show you if you want. It won't have camo lettering though.

I have a question for everyone with this case: Is your PSU fan oriented UP, towards the motherboard, or DOWN, towards the floor. Also, which is better? I recently changed mine to orient down towards the floor, and I think I may change it back to face upwards. My temps seem a bit higher than they were, and about 40% of the large intake fan is covered due to the lack of "air holes". Let me hear your opinions! Thank you.[/QUOTE] I have a Corsair HX620W facing down. If I flip it then I won't be able to run the motherboard power cable in the back of the board to the upper left corner. At this point I don't see a way around this. H

Alright, complete the "mods" last night. I'm not 100% impressed but I have seen temp improvements. Right now CPU idling at 35C (Ambient temp: 34), which is nice. Additionally, my dual 4830s are 36c/35c respectively. I reseated the DK, and lapped it slightly, just to remove any large "ridges." I moved from Arctic silver 5 to OCZ freeze too.
Edit: CPU load 48C / GPU 56C / Ambient 33.5C (Prime95 & Folding@home running) I was unable to used the alternate retention bracket. But, since I jerry rigged a "pull" fan to the heatsink, and had some room to install the OCZ xtc cooler, I will probably leave it as is. The Lian-li HDD case is definitely high quality and easy to use. I had to use some force to seat it flush with the rest of the case, though. Should I hide the Lian-li logo or leave it? I'm still working on my cable management, but I don't have the energy right now. The intake fan isn't blocked at all, but I don't like all the wires hanging around. I'm also going to hide the CPU fan wires. Let me know what you think! Thanks. ![]() ![]() ![]()
